Vision

The DOMOTO is a sleek, architectural update of the classic navigator, part of Jacques Marie Mage’s VU series. Oversized but never overconfident, its T.V.-shaped lenses combine luxurious materials with a refined physicality.

It takes its name from Domoto Hisao, the Japanese painter whose powerful abstract works carry the same vibrancy. In the HONEYCOMB colorway, warm Havana acetate meets light gold details. As a result, this wide optical frame feels both expressive and effortlessly refined.

Crafted to Perfection

The frame is handcrafted from 10mm cured cellulose acetate in Havana, offering a substantial yet comfortable construction. Moreover, its precious metal hardware gives it the unmistakable Jacques Marie Mage signature.

A light gold signature arrowhead front pin defines the front, while an exposed light gold wirecore runs through the temples. The frame comes fitted with Superlight Bronze CR39 lenses, ready to be replaced by your own prescription lenses.

Limited Production Batch

Only 400 pieces of the DOMOTO in HONEYCOMB were produced. Each pair belongs to a carefully controlled production run, numbered by hand and signed by the craftsmen.

Packaging

Each pair arrives in a silk-wrapped monograph box in the signature Bordeaux Empire color. It includes a custom leather eyewear case handcrafted in Italy and an oversized microfiber cleaning cloth. A letterpress authenticity card, with the craftsmen’s signatures and a hand-written serial number, completes the set.
