Among her clientele, the young woman counts several celebrities, including singer Beyoncé and actress Jessica Alba. To charm her audience, she draws inspiration from the neighborhoods of Paris, among other places. As a tribute to her native city, Ahlem Manai-Platt created her first sunglasses collection, with each model capturing the essence and bearing the name of a Parisian district: Pigalle, Belleville, Saint-Germain, Barbès, and Saint-Martin.
Daily life, the vibrant culture of both Paris and Venice Beach (where she now resides), and the work of her favorite artists and architects are essential references for her.
When it comes to materials, Ahlem Manai-Platt sources from France and Italy, with manufacturing exclusively done by hand in Oyonnax, in the Jura region. The collection features Mazzucchelli acetate as well as rarer, vintage acetates used in limited quantities.
The metal frames are made of gold-plated palladium. For the lenses, Ahlem collaborates with the French optical company Christian Dalloz. Their Cridal lenses, backed by over 50 years of expertise, offer both unparalleled UV protection thanks to an integrated anti-reflective coating, and crystal-clear, distortion-free vision.
AHLEM offers French-made luxury eyewear featuring a Franco-Californian twist in its design. The best of both worlds…
